People First Stadium is a premier multi-purpose venue located in Carrara on the Gold Coast. Opened in 1987 and extensively redeveloped in 2010 ahead of the AFL’s expansion into Queensland, the stadium has a seating capacity of around 27,000. It serves as the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns and has also hosted international cricket matches, rugby league fixtures, and major entertainment events. Surrounded by parklands and waterways, People First Stadium is a key sporting hub in southeast Queensland.
