

Ninja Stadium
Ninja Stadium, formerly known as Bellerive Oval and Blundstone Arena, is a major outdoor sports and entertainment venue located in Bellerive, Hobart, on the eastern shore of the Derwent River. With a capacity of around 19,500–20,000 spectators, it is Tasmania’s premier stadium and is best known as the state’s main cricket ground, hosting international Tests, One-Day Internationals, Big Bash League matches, and serving as the home of the Hobart Hurricanes and Tasmanian Tigers. The venue also hosts Australian Football League matches, with North Melbourne playing select home games there each season. Featuring modern grandstands, upgraded lighting, and quality player and spectator facilities, Ninja Stadium plays a central role in Tasmania’s elite sport, major events, and community life.
