ENGIE Stadium, formerly known as Sydney Showground Stadium, is a multi-purpose venue located in Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney. Opened in 1998 and later redeveloped, the stadium has a capacity of around 24,000 and is best known as the home ground of the Greater Western Sydney Giants (AFL) and the Sydney Thunder (BBL). Designed with steep seating for strong sightlines and an intimate atmosphere, ENGIE Stadium hosts Australian rules football, cricket, rugby league, and major events, playing a key role in Sydney’s sporting landscape.
