Sydney Swans

The Sydney Swans are one of the original founding teams of the AFL, having been established in 1874 as the South Melbourne Football Club. In 1982, the club relocated to Sydney, becoming the first non-Victorian team in the competition. The Swans won premierships in 2005 and 2012, bringing the total number of premierships in the club’s history to 5 (including premierships won as the South Melbourne Swans in 1909, 1918 and 1933). The Swans play their home games at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
